CMH Cariboos

Untouched slopes, champagne powder and plenty of tree runs - The consistently high snowfall of the North Thompson Valley means that the Cariboos has terrific, high-quality Heli-Skiing until very late in the season.

An area of consistently high snowfall the Cariboos offer versatile skiing with the added advantage of below tree line skiing on days when the weather is poor.

Every day you’ll carve the first tracks in the backcountry, with your team of accomplished guides providing support when you need it.

The terrain of the Cariboos is an amalgamation of all the different kinds of features that make up great skiing. Guests of the Cariboos can enjoy a huge range of runs including long powder-cloaked old-growth forests, steep serpentine ridgelines, friendly glades, rock-edged couloirs, undulating glaciers as well as planar mountain faces, not to mention chaotic combinations of all of the above!

Skier Level: The Cariboos are suitable only for physically fit, well-experienced skiers and snowboarders who enjoy a fast pace.

Can't be descibed in words

Written by Rick a Skier from Sydney, Australia
The fundamental problem is that after considerable discussion with the 8 other Australian people in our group who have all skied the world over for decades, we determined that no photograph, no video footage and no words could convey the extraordinary experience we all had. It was not the ease of travel to and from the remote location that was outstanding. It was not the obvious care and attention of the lodge staff to be genuinely friendly and interactive. It was not the amazing skill of the pilots and guides that marked our holiday exceptional. It was not the incredible quality of snow and range and of terrain that amazed us. It was all of the above - and that still doesn't come close to adequately communicating our remarkable journey.

Cariboos in February

Written by Pamela a Skier from Byron Bay, NSW. Australia

CMH gets it right every time.

Snow was sensational, brilliant open gladed tree skiing on burnt tree runs the week we were there.

Skied sunshine and fresh snow for the first 4 days, tree skiing when the weather set in and could ski until the legs were exhausted and then lots more!

The Iceland Parkway drive to get there is long but spectacular.

Totally addicted to CMH.
